MV Britannia

MV Britannia was ordered by P&O Cruises in 2011 and built at the Fincantieri yard in Monfalcone, Italy. She is one of three 'Royal Class' ships, and her two sisters MV Royal Princess and MV Regal Princess both operate with Princess Cruises.
 
Britannia was launched on the 14 February 2014. Following an official naming ceremony by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II,  she began her maiden voyage from Southampton, England on 14 March 2015. During the summer season, Britannia will sail to the Mediterranean, Norwegian Fjords, Baltic, Canary Islands and Atlantic Islands. In Winter, she will sail 14 night Caribbean itineraries. Britannia is the largest ship to be built for the UK cruise market.
